A VOICE for ALL: Our Mission to Preserve and Advance All Cultures for Future Generations.
The All Cultures Heritage Strategy Plan (ACHSP) is a critical initiative designed to foster inclusivity and celebrate cultural diversity within the cities of Oakland Park, Fort Lauderdale, and Wilton Manors. These communities, celebrated for their diverse demographics and progressive values, have come together through this plan to acknowledge and honor thier unique cultural heritages.
A proactive response to ongoing cultural and social challenges, including the LGBTQ+ culture war, the ACHSP aims to strengthen cultural identities and promote unity through community empowerment, education, and policy advocacy. By doing so, it sets a blueprint for tackling these challenges in a constructive and forward-thinking manner.
This strategic collaboration between the three cities encompasses key areas, including public education, urban planning, cultural celebrations, and the protection of marginalized communities. The ultimate goal is to weave cultural diversity into the very fabric of these cities, ensuring that no group is left behind in the march toward progress.
Wilton Drive Voice is dedicated to preserving the vibrant spirit of Wilton Drive for both current and future generations as a model of cultural preservation for all communities.
In an era where technology often captivates ourselves, more importantly, our next generation of youth. The responsibility to our youth (and ourselves) is essential to spark interest in, preserve and appreciation for all cultures. A balancing act drawing attention 'off screens' to live a better quality of life by participating in culture. By ensuring culture and the activities that go along with that, we stand a chance to grow our young minds with technology and not be consumed by the screens.
In addition, we are in a new era as economic growth risks homogenizing our communities. Culture stands as the crucial counterbalance.
We are committed to a comprehensive process that safeguards diversity and cultural heritage by preserving and advancing traditions, businesses, arts, health initiatives, non-profits, and practices. Our goal is to ensure that this rich tapestry endures, enriching lives for generations to come.
A special shout out to the Eagle, Hunters, The Pub and Georgies Alibi Monkey Bar for their initial and continued support and guidance.
